These burgers are crazy.

I think I am becoming a crazy hamburger working with type and layouts for our next design project. Designing an annual report isn't exactly my forte, but I'm trying to use illustrations to decorate it, hence these strange characters that look like they've crawled out from under a rock.

And a bird! I don't think I have ever drawn a bird before, those things are a lot hairier than I thought. Plus it kinda creeps me out since I heard that when they flap their wings all kinds of germs and bacteria flood the air around them. Eech.

Well, to keep myself sane I've been doodling a series of bizarre orgies which I shall upload once I have the chance to scan them since Paddy has requested for them. I used to draw stuff like that back in high school but I think they're a lot better now. Albie (who has started listening to Aphex Twin) is collaborating with me and drawing over my illustrations with a felt tip, combining his cute surreal cartoons with my drawings, and it works really well. I will scan those too (Ayano, stay! Stay!!!). Sigh, there's a presentation tmrw and that scares me because I don't like standing in front of people who are secretly destroying your work in their minds as you speak. Oh and random thought of the night, Deb (who listens to A LOT of afi) asked me to check out the new Blaqk Audio song called Semiotic Love which I think is fuckin killer! And so does Cedric!!! And if someone who produces music professionally like him listened to it several times, I think that justifies me listening to it several times too! Just say goodbye, I live and I'll die!

Another random strange, fashion stuff. Scroll through, check out the manga and wires, I like.

And here is a picture I found of one of my favoritest people in the world.

A not so peachy day.

Caught Helvetica on Sunday with Kate and was very impressed with a documentary about a font since I was actually expecting a boring movie that would only entertain the extremely nerdy or type obsessed peeps like James (who listens to a lot of The Shins and has cool glasses).

Don't seem to be progressing with my new project too, and I feel like I am stuck in another dimension, in a house where monkeys stick up wallpaper and nothing much else happens. Something feels missing.

My lecturer keeps referring me as the student who is obsessed with probes and scatology so here are some images for Spencer.

Busy bee indeed.

Well, I have been a busy bee indeed. I think I started to worry my bestfriend, Jiggly Puffy (who wants to go watch U2 all of a sudden). For those who don't know, I had friends coming over and I was busy showing them around Melbourne. I'll sort out the photos and multiply them soon. So it was mad shopping for them at Brunswick, Chapel, Bridge Road and the city. I bought myself a black and pink coat with a detachable hoodie at Camberwell too.

And now it's back to uni. The first project for design studio already looks painfully boring, but I'm hoping things will pick up. I can't wait for Kate and I to get started on our little adult childrens book we plan to collaborate on. It's currently called Princess Kate and her Perfect Puddle of Pee. Well, it's been a refreshing holiday with lots of pleasant surprises (and apparently more hidden in my apartment as well).

And someone please rush Dannyboy (who listens to a lot of "indie") for the teabag photos.

Meza Virs.

Additional promo material I've been working on for Meza Virs. Ced (who listens to a lot of Avril) went with the third image. Cute band, cute music. Okay, I only kid. Metal music, cute robots, vitamin C. Winter is still destroying my tiny toes, but I will be having company in my teeny apartment soon for a few days, so that should be fun. Giant blankets and five pillows, chilling with VALERIE WONG (who listens to a lot of Art of Fighting) and Miffy (who listens to a lot of AFI). I just put up a massive David Bowie on my wall, thanks to miffy which makes me happy all the time. There's a starman, waiting in the sky. He'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds. Oh, and Kate (who listens to a lot of Emiliano Torrini) is super duper and has pea toes.

Meet the Johnsons.

Some cute stuff on youtube.

Something strange, in the neighborhood.

This is very interesting, especially towards the end. I strongly suggest you all watch this.

I've been busy watching action movies and shit on youtube... and also recently discovered theres more to tvlinks than the OC and the Twilight Zone (actually, it was Alicia who shared the secret of clicking the movies and cartoons links yesterday). I'm silly.
